VALLONIA

Jonathan Wayne “Jon” Beickman, 53, of Vallonia passed away unexpectedly Friday, March 4, 2016, at his residence.

Most recently, he had worked at Sylvania. He also had worked for the Groub Co. for more than 20 years. He enjoyed all blues music, loved to hunt and loved spending time with his family. He loved animals, especially his two dogs, Bella and Diesel.

Born March 6, 1962, in Jackson County, he was the son of Donna Main Meahl of Seymour and the late Alan Beickman. On March 10, 1989, he married Jodi Miller Beickman, and she survives in Vallonia. 

Other survivors include a son, Joseph Alan Beickman; a brother, Bruce (Paula) Beickman; nieces and nephews, Maggie and Andrew Beickman, Ted, Allee and Miranda Miller, Mike, Matt and Marshall Miller, Adrienne and Bud Graessle and Tori and Logan Kellner.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Winklepleck-Weesner Funeral Home in Brownstown with Pastor Jack Belk officiating. Burial will be at Fairview Cemetery in Brownstown.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
