A 22-year-old Jefferson County man was flown to a Louisville hospital after he was injured in a wreck Tuesday in North Vernon.

Chadwick Dorsey of Madison sustained those injuries after the 2008 Chevrolet Silverado he was driving north on State Street (State Road 7) hit a curb, left the road and rolled over, according to a news release from Sgt. Andrew Richmond with North Vernon Police Department.

Dorsey was removed from the vehicle and flown by helicopter to Louisville, said Richmond, who is the department’s public information officer.

He said a witness told police Dorsey was speeding when the wreck occurred just north of FDR Drive.

Officers Wes Thayer and Miles Courtney investigated the wreck, reported about 10:30 p.m. Tuesday.
