The 2016 IHSAA boys sectional basketball draws were announced Sunday.
CLASS 4A SECTIONAL 15 (SEYMOUR)
Seymour will begin postseason play by hosting Floyd Central at 6 p.m. March 1.Seymour lost 33-31 to Floyd Central on Jan. 29.The winner will face Class 4A No. 1 New Albany on March 4 in the semifinals.
In the lower bracket, Jennings County drew the bye and Bedford North Lawrence will take on Jeffersonville in the late game on March 1.
The championship will be 7:30 p.m. March 5.
CLASS 3A SECTIONAL 30 (CHARL
ESTOWN)Class 3A No. 5 Brownstown Central plays North Harrison at 7 p.m. on March 1 to open the Charlestown Sectional.Should the Braves advance, they would play Salem in the semifinals at 6 p.m. March 4.
Charlestown and Corydon Central will meet on March 2 followed by a matchup between Silver Creek and Scottsburg in the lower bracket. The final will be 7 p.m. on March 5.
CLASS A SECTIONAL 61 (WEST WASHINGTON)
Jackson County schools Trinity Lutheran and Medora will play the first game of the Class A West Washington sectional at 6 p.m. March 1.Crothersville will take on West Washington immediately following.Borden awaits in the semifinals the winner of Medora-Trinity while Orleans will play Crothersville-West Washington winner.
The semifinals will take place starting at 6 p.m. on March 4. The sectional championship is 7:30 p.m. March. 5.
