If you just found out that you are going to have a baby or are looking for information on becoming pregnant, Schneck Medical Center is offering Best Beginnings.

The program will help new and future moms-to-be get ready for the physical, emotional and lifestyle changes that come with having their first baby or growing their family.

This new program includes help in finding a pediatrician, breastfeeding basics, healthy eating for mom, what to expect in the delivery room, car seat basics and ask the doctor.

Best Beginnings will be from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. in the Schneck Auditorium just inside the visitor’s entrance at Schneck Medical Center, 411 W. Tipton St., Seymour.

Participants may choose from one of four dates: Feb. 16, May 17, July 16 or Oct. 4.

If you’re planning your family’s future and don’t know what to expect, register for Best Beginnings online at schneckmed.org.

All attendees must be registered. If you are unable to attend on your scheduled date or would like to be placed on a waiting list for a date that is full, email Suzanne Dippold at [email protected].
