Local Rresidents earn degrees from Western Governors University

Western Governors University recently conducted its sixth annual commencement ceremony at the Indiana Convention Center in Indianapolis.

Lt. Gov. Sue Ellspermann delivered the commencement address.

Jackson County graduates included Margaret Walls, bachelor of science in nursing, and Caitlyn Baker, bachelor of science in nursing, both of Brownstown.

Seymour residents included Belinda Bowman, bachelor of science in nursing; Sonja Moscrip, bachelor of science in nursing; Amy Cozart, bachelor of science in accounting; Tessa Fish, bachelor of arts in interdisciplinary studies (K-8); Rachel Cravens, master of science in nursing-education; Linda Smith, bachelor of science in nursing; Jon Guffey, MBA in management and strategy; and Bradley Durbin, bachelor of science in accounting.

Three Jennings County residents also earned degrees. The North Vernon residents included Kristen Fletcher, master of science in nursing-education; Sara Beal, master of science in nursing-leadership and management; and Sandra Fleenor, bachelor of science in business-human resource management.
