“Monster Lock-In” planned for youth

Jackson County Public Library will conduct a free “Monster Lock-In” for youth in grades 6 to 12 from 4:30 to 9:30 p.m. Oct. 31 at the Seymour Library, 303 W. Second St.

Attendees must arrive by 4:30 p.m. and plan to stay for the entire event, which is sponsored by Friends of the Library. A signed permission slip is required and may be brought to the event.

Attendees should come dressed as their favorite monster for the costume contest and stay to enjoy games and food.
