The Seymour Department of Public Works will begin leaf pickup at residences this coming week.
The service will continue as long as there is an abundance of leaves and as weather permits, according to a news release from Mayor Craig Luedeman’s office. There is no need for residents to call for this service.
Leaves should be raked as close to the curb as possible and should be free of branches and other trash items.
City residents are asked to avoid placing leaves in or near catch basins.
