Get crash course in computers at library

The Brownstown Public Library will offer two free computer classes Oct. 10.

The first class from 11 a.m. to noon will provide information about buying a new computer. This class covers what the buyer should look for when buying a computer and what constitutes a fair deal for the dollar. This class is for people looking to buy a new computer or those wanting to learn more about the makeup of a computer for future reference.

The second class from 1 to 2 p.m. will cover all topics concerning Microsoft Office 2013. Primary consideration will be given to Excel 2013, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word. Access 2013 will be covered depending upon interest.

Space is limited, so registration is required. Register at the circulation desk or by calling the library at 812-358-2853.

The library is at 120 E. Spring St.
