Free bluegrass and gospel music shows have been planned for all three nights of the 43rd annual Seymour Oktoberfest.

On Thursday, bands scheduled to perform are Monday Night Special and Common Ground. On Friday, Midwest Station, Deer Creek and New Balance will play.

Then Saturday night, Infinity, High-Octane and Backwoods Bluegrass are scheduled to perform.

The shows begin at 7 p.m. each day at the stage on Chestnut Street north of Tipton Street.

Some bleacher seating will be available, but the public may bring their own lawn chairs.

D.L. “Don” Tatlock will be the emcee for the shows, and McIntire Alarm Co. will provide the sound.
