NORTH VERNON

Jewel D. Cathcart, 78, of North Vernon, died at 2:45 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015, at Hickory Creek in Greensburg.

Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Chadwell of North Vernon; four brothers, Harson, Eddie Arnold and James Vaughn, all of Tennessee, and Fred Vaughn of Indianapolis; three sisters, Josephine Smith of North Vernon, and Mildred Vaughn and Norma Jean Randolph, both of Nashville, Tennessee; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Dale Cathcart; a son, Larry Cathcart; and a daughter, Lena Mae Cathcart.

The funeral service will be noon Saturday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon with the Rev. Michael Biggs officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.

Memorials may be made for expenses.
