NORTH VERNON

Norma Jean Hatton, 85, of North Vernon, died at 2:11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 2015, at the home of her daughter.

Survivors include five sons, Jamie (Lois) Hatton, Denny (Nancy) Hatton, Clyde (Susie) Hatton and Jack (Lynnetta) Hatton, all of North Vernon and Greg (Barbara) Hatton of Madison; a daughter, Sheryl (Roger) Richardson of Paris Crossing; two brothers, Jack Trent of Whitesburg, Kentucky, and Gary (Carolyn) Trent of Xenia, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Hooks of Houston, Texas, and Sue Trent of Hubert Heights, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Hatton, and a son, Larry V. Hatton.

The funeral service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services with the Rev. Donnie Hamby and the Rev. Caleb Howard officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today and from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday. Burial will be in Dupont Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to Ovarian Cancer Research Fund or International Fellowship of Christians and Jews.
