Rochelle “Sherry” Miller, 59, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, Sept. 4, 2015.

She was baptized at an early age and was a member of Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Indianapolis.

She graduated summa cum laude from Mississippi Valley State, where she was a member of Delta Sigma Theta. She was a homemaker and employed with Kiwanis and Leo Burnett advertising agency.

Survivors include her parents, Curtis Bush and Ernestine Johnson; husband, Keith Miller; son, Aaron Stanton; stepsons, Keith (Angie) Miller and Tyler Miller; stepdaughter, Tiffany Miller; brothers, David (Pamela) Bush, Corby (Yvonne) Bush and Kevin Bush, Mark Johnson and Frederick Collins; sisters, Dr. Debra (Dr. Troy) Ladd, Cynthia and Drenee Bush, Terry Holmes, Devitas (Dwight) Joy and Lynette (David) Norris; and three stepgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her stepfather, Tom Johnson; a sister, Shandolyn; a nephew, Johnathan Ladd; and a great-nephew, Andrew.

A “home going celebration” will be 11 a.m. Saturday at Little Bethel Missionary Baptist Church, 3276 N. Winthrop Ave., Indianapolis.

Visitation will be from from 10 a.m. until time of service. 

Bluitt and Son Funeral Home in Indianapolis handled the arrangements.
