Byron Gail Nagel, 64, of Madison, died at 7:45 p.m. Monday, Aug. 31, 2015, at King’s Daughters’ Hospital, Madison.

Survivors include his wife, Melodye Kae Davis Nagel of Madison; son, Pastor Joshua (Heather) Nagel of Radcliff, Kentucky; daughter, Rebekah (Zach) Nagel Hartzell of Bowling Green, Ohio; eight grandchildren; brothers, Daryl (Lori) Nagel of Waco, Texas, Scott (Sherry) Nagel of Brook and Jeff (Beth) Nagel of West Lafayette; and sisters, Sharon (Dan) Nykiel of Lafayette and Helen (Curtis) Gutwein of Rensselaer.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Madison Assembly of God Church, 1636 Clifty Drive, Madison, with Pastor Peter Joudry officiating. Burial will be at Fairmount Cemetery, Madison.

Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 1 p.m. until the time of service Saturday at the church.
