Bleats, heat and eats: Another day at the fair

Good morning, everyone. Thank you to those that came out and braved the heat Tuesday to show support for the 4-H’ers showing their pigs.

We started off the day with Dad getting us up way too early in my opinion, but things had to get done.

Once the animals were taken care of at the house, it was time to head back to the fairgrounds. Once there, I worked on feeding our goats, while Dad went and helped Conner check on the rabbits.

After I finished feeding the goats, I got my Alpine dairy goat, Susie, on the stand so I could start milking, while Dad and Conner went and checked on the pigs and sheep. Next, it was time to get the sheep ready for weigh-in.
