Schedule for county fair performers announced

A schedule of performers for the stage in front of the Antiques Building at the Jackson County Fair, which begins Sunday and ends Aug. 1, has been announced.

Those taking the stage include:

3 p.m. to sunset Sunday: Rick Wilson (the host)

6 to 9 p.m. Monday: Larry Wayt Jammin 101 playing well with others, old-time acoustic slow jam

6 to 9 p.m. Tuesday: Star Promenaders of Seymour with caller Marvin Rumph

6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday: Matt Barnett and Roy Houer

6 to 9 p.m. Thursday: STEPS Dance, Stars and Stripes Cloggers

6 to 9 p.m. Friday: TBA

6 to 9 p.m. Saturday: TBA

The theme for the Antique Building is “Christmas in July.” The Antique Building annex will feature displays from Driftwood Christian Church, which is celebrating 200 years, and Brownstown United Methodist Church, which is celebrating 190 years.
