Rabel “Ray” and Ruth Newkirk plan to celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary from 12:30 to 2 p.m. Sunday in the fellowship hall at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Seymour.

The couple were married July 24, 1955, at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown.

The Newkirks have two children, Karl (Cathy) Newkirk and Kurt (Dawna) Newkirk; and three grandchildren, Andrea, Emilee and Jacob Newkirk.

Family and friends are invited, and the couple request no gifts.
