Logan Susnick, 86, of Austin, died Thursday, July 16, 2015, in Scottsburg.

Born June 29, 1929, in Perry County, Kentucky, he was the son of Nicholas Susnick and Maude Hamblin Susnick, both of him who preceded him in death. He was married to Margaret E. Coldiron Susnick, who preceded him in death.

He was previously employed for 20 years with Morgan Foods in Austin as a truck driver and was retired as a supervisor with the Indiana State Highway Department. He was a member of Alliance Bible Church in Crothersville; Scott Lodge 120 Free & Accepted Masons, serving as past master; and a veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.

Survivors include a son, Will (Donalee) Susnick of Tampico; grandchildren, Brittany (Kevin) Barker and Travis Gibson; a great-granddaughter, Lexis Barker; a sister, Phyllis Lacy of Scottsburg; and several nieces and nephews.

Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, Jack Susnick, Boaz Susnick and Ruthford Susnick; sisters, Mollie Stuart, Maelda Fields, Pauline Williams, Jean Susnick and Fern Mount.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Steward & Hoagland Funeral Home, 80 N. 1st St., Scottsburg with Rudy Hamblin officiating Burial will follow at Austin Cemetery. A Masonic memorial service at 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Alliance Bible Church or Scott Lodge 120 F&AM Lodge.
