HAYS, Kansas

Laurence Albert Dryden, 91, of Hays, Kansas, and formerly of Jennings County, died Sunday, July 12, 2015, at Good Samaritan Society Nursing Home in Ellis, Kansas.

Survivors include two stepsons, David (Paula) Freisner of Galveston, Texas, and Lynn (Jody) Freisner of Omaha, Nebraska; a sister, Mary Alice (Van) York of Seattle, Washington; two stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Vernon Cemetery, with Dennis Ferguson officiating and Veterans of Foreign Wars rites to follow.
