The town of Medora’s water company will be flushing the water distribution system through fire hydrants Friday.

Flushing hydrants is designed to increase flow through water delivery systems by “flushing” minerals and other deposits through the system.

The work will begin at about 9 p.m. to avoid issues with people using water to bathe, shower or wash clothes.
