The Seymour middle school basketball league is set to take place starting next week.

Games will be played at the Seymour Middle School and Boys and Girls Club.

In the eighth-grade division, which allows seventh-graders to also play up, the games will consist of two 20 minutes running clock halves.

A seventh-grade division also is being offered.

Each team in the league will play eight games, two per night, over four dates: July 14, 16, 21 and 23.

Games will run in increments from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m.

IHSAA officials will be on site.

Cost is $200 per team, and admission is $5 for students and seniors.
