NORTH VERNON

Roger Bowling, 78, of North Vernon, died at 7:08 p.m., Saturday, July 4, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include three sons, Randy, Ronald and Roger “Digger” Bowling, all of North Vernon; two stepsons, Marty and Rodney Evans, both of North Vernon; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service with George Uppling officiating.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service  Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to the family for funeral expenses.
