Connie Sue Rose Featherby, 66, of Seymour, died at 5:36 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, at Kindred Health and Rehab Center in Columbus.

Born Oct. 18, 1948, in Portland, Oregon, she was the daughter of Jim Rose and Claris McKinney Rose, both of whom preceded her in death. She was married to Wayne Featherby, who passed away in 2008.

Connie was a homemaker. She worked several years at Vallonia Tree Nursery and several years at Aisin in Seymour. She was an avid animal lover. She loved to fish and enjoyed dancing and NASCAR racing.

Survivors include two sons, James Bowman of Freetown and Harold Bowman Jr. of Seymour; a stepdaughter, Crystal Featherby of Columbus; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a brother, John Rose of Medora.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a stepdaughter, Amber Croquart; and a brother, Gary Rose.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora, with the Pastor Alisha Roberts officiating.

Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery, Medora.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until time of service Monday at the funeral home.
