FREETOWN

Ronald Francis “Fran” Pearson, 52, of Freetown, passed away suddenly Monday, June 29,  2015, in Pendleton.

Born Aug. 17, 1962, in Seymour, he was the son of Ronald J. Pearson, who preceded him in death, and Iris Dianne Anderson Gilliam, who survives.

Fran attended Freetown Church of Christ and was an avid outdoorsman. He loved hunting and fishing and spending time with friends.

Other survivors beside his mother include his stepfather, Byron Gilliam of Freetown; children, Chasity (Charles) Muns of Edinburgh, April Rose, Nicole Pearson, Ronny Jo Pearson, Courtney Rose and Ronald Francis Pearson Jr., all of Freetown; a stepson, Michael Pruitt of Edinburgh; grandchildren, Jayli, Jasmine and Jocelyn; siblings, Tammy Dianne (Georgia) Pearson, Douglas Scott Pearson and Tanya Dionne McDonald, all of Freetown; and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Woodlawn Freetown Funeral Chapel, 4595 W. Second St.

Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow services at the Freetown Cemetery.
