Kathleen Johnson conducted an installation of officers recently when Theta Omega chapter Phi Beta Psi sorority met before a summer break at the Community Foundation of Jackson County in Seymour.

Installed were Joan Trimpe, president; Taryn Rockey, first vice president; Janet Cooper, treasurer; Cori Vaughn, conductress; Kalee Alberring, correspondence secretary; and Doris Baurle, reporter.

Alberring and Jami Mathis were selected to be spirit club team captains beginning in September. A donation of $200 was made to the Community Foundation.

The sorority’s Chicago bus trip entitled “Kicking Cancer with Capone” is Nov. 7. Tickets are $75 for early bird purchasers.

Trimpe, Cooper and Mary Reynolds will be attending the national convention July 19 to 22 at Tampa, Florida.

September social hostesses are Becca Rust, Melissa Krawchison and Dana Byrkett.
