The Seymour Police Department is requesting assistance in locating a runaway juvenile.

Robert Herlein, 16, of Seymour left his South O’Brien Street residence sometime between 10 and 11 a.m. Wednesday.

He is approximately 6 feet tall and weighs approximately 165 pounds. He has blue/green eyes and brown hair, and he has tattoos on both ribs and his right forearm. He was last seen wearing blue jeans and a black shirt.

Herlein’s whereabouts area currently unknown, but information suggested he frequents the North Vernon area in Country Squire Lakes and the Rockford Dam just outside of Seymour, police said.

At this time, there is no reason to believe that Herlein is in any danger, police said.
