NORTH VERNON

Anthony Lee Kane, 82, of North Vernon, died at 1:35 p.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015, at St. Vincent Jennings Hospital.

Survivors include his wife, Sheila Kane of North Vernon; sons, Pat (Lisa) Kane of Greenwood, Mike (Christie) Kane of Clarksville, Tim (Lisa) Kane of Greensburg and Jim Kane of North Vernon; daughters, Angie (Dan) James of Indianapolis, Carmel (Jay) Campfield of North Vernon and Felicia (Richard) Vogel of North Vernon; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Jerry Byrd and the Rev. John Meyer officiating. Interment will be at St. Mary’s Cemetery.

A Rosary service will be at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral and Cremation Services in North Vernon.

Visitation will be from 3:30 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to the St. Mary’s School Endowment or the Vernon High School Endowment.
