Sorority conducts initiation ceremony for 3 members

Theta Omega chapter of Phi Beta Psi sorority recently conducted an initiation for Kristy Gabbard, Jami Mathis and Angi Reynolds at The Pines restaurant.

President Joan Trimpe and conductress Rachel Rust presided over the candlelight ceremony. Chaplain Jackie Hill and guard Doris Baurle assisted. Sorority stations were Phi, Dana Byrkett; Beta, Mary Reynolds; and Psi, Kalee Alberring.

Hostesses were Rust, Kathleen Johnson and Jennifer Payton, who presented lucky lady prizes to Cori Vaughn, Becca Rust, Alberring, Angi Reynolds, Mary Reynolds, Beckie Anderson, Gabbard and Byrkett.

An upcoming fundraiser was discussed. Painting with Phi Beta Psi has been scheduled for June 28 at Chateau de Pique.

The committee, Beckie Anderson, Cori Vaughn, Mary Reynolds, Joan Trimpe and Rachel Rust will have more details at the business meeting at 7 p.m. May 18 at the Community Foundation Building of Jackson County in Seymour.

An installation of officers also will be conducted.
