The sixth annual Jackson County Antique Farm Machinery Show will be May 7 to 9 at the Jackson County Fairgrounds in Brownstown.
The free Jackson County Antique Machinery Association Inc. event will start at 8 a.m. daily with prayer and the playing of the national anthem.
The show will feature Cockshutt/Co-op tractors and equipment, Ohio-built engines and Bolens garden tractors.
All three days, three will be displays of vintage equipment of gas engines with live demonstrations, arts and crafts, barrell train rides, a swap meet and flea market and an open cruise-in for antique cars and trucks.
A display of antique tools, machinery, cars and trucks made in Indiana also is planned. To participate in this display, contact Charles Badger at 812-294-4074.
A silent auction will be from noon to 4 p.m. May 8 and 9.
On May 9, there will be an antique tractor drive (8:30 a.m.), tractor games (10 a.m.), a children’s pedal tractor pull (11 a.m.), a garden tractor pull (noon), a skillet toss (1 p.m.), a garden tractor parade (2 p.m.), old-time country and rock ‘n’ roll from Lexington native Bobby Deal (2 p.m.) and an antique tractor parade (3 p.m.).
A variety of food will be available from Carr Township Conservation Club, Jackson County Missions Team, Gnaw Bone Concessions and Blooming Onion. Amish homemade ice cream also will be available.
