Reins to Recovery Inc. Therapeutic Riding Center is conducting an 18-hole golf scramble at 9 a.m. June 20 at Hickory Hills Golf Club in Brownstown.

The scramble is open to the first 14 teams. Cost is $50 per player and includes a golf cart and a meal.

Proceeds go to Reins to Recovery, a nonprofit organization that encourages the physical and mental development of children and adults with social, emotional, psychological or physical disabilities. The equine-facilitated program also is for at-risk youth and is effective in addressing the needs of children and adults who have been victims of violence or abuse.
