Kevin Ray “Cabbage” Toppe, 65, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, April 14, 2015, at Covered Bridge Health Campus.

He was the son of Wilma J. Bobb Toppe of Seymour and the late Glenn O. Toppe.

Kevin was a mechanic for Fenton Auto Sales for more than 25 years and was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Brownstown.

He was a sports fanatic, loved NASCAR and was an avid Colts fan. He knew all kinds of sports facts and trivia. He was a “people person.” He enjoyed working in the yard, and he recently created a Facebook page to keep up with all his family and friends from out of town.

Besides his mother, survivors include two sons, James Kevin Toppe and Joseph Edward Toppe; a sister, Sheila D. Toppe; and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Ginny J. Clouse.

A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery with the Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating.
