Jackson County Extension Homemakers Past Presidents Club met March 21 at Linda Eggersman’s home. Co-hostesses were Barb Prince and Julie Nay.
Nay read “Spring Sings the Resurrection” and offered prayer before a brunch of ham and egg and sausage and egg casseroles, quick breads, fruit casserole and beverages.
Eunice Lacey read a memorial poem for member Naomi Gambrel, who died last year.
Fifteen members answered roll call by talking about their favorite hobbies or collections.
Karla Thompson won a prize in a spice IQ quiz, and several received prizes in pie plate bingo.
The next meeting will be June 20. Hostesses will be chairman Marilyn Hurt, Aryss Beebe and Nancy Nay.
