APACHE JUNCTION, Ariz.

Leland V. Ames Jr., 69, of Apache Junction, Arizona, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at his residence.

Born March 5, 1945, he was the son of Leland V. Ames and Virginia A. Niehaus Ames of Seymour.

He graduated from Seymour High School with the Class of 1972 and was an electrical contractor in Phoenix for 40 years.

Survivors include three sons; two daughters; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Ruby Marchese of Warminster, Pennsylvania, and Carol Braun of Apache Junction, Arizona.

Both of his parents and a sister, Nancy Lynch, preceded him in death.
