NORTH VERNON

Zonda Rose Hearne, 86, of North Vernon, died at 6:50 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 26, 2015, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Survivors include a son, Roger (Elidia) Hearne of North Vernon; a daughter, Teresa (David) Norris of Rushville; a sister, Eva (Wayne) Downs of Greentown; six grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Hearne, and a daughter, Marlyn K. Couch.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Risen Savior Bible Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Roger Hearne officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Burial will be in Dupont Cemetery.

Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Risen Savior Bible Church or Our Hospice of Jennings County.
