NORTH VERNON

Opal Marie Schuck, 97, of North Vernon, died at 3 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, at her residence.

Survivors include three sons, John Schuck of North Vernon, Steve Schuck of Hartford City, and Charlie Schuck of Batesville; four daughters, Sherrel and Shirley Schuck, both of North Vernon, Janet Moore of West Palm Beach, Florida, and Jeanne Struben of Muncie; 13 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edgar Charles Schuck; and son, Michael Schuck.

A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with the Rev. Jerry Byrd will officiating.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service. Rosary service will be Friday at 4:30 p.m. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to St. Mary’s Catholic Church or North Vernon Center Township Volunteer Fire Department.
