SEYMOUR
Eva A. “Fuss” Divine, 80, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 24, 2015, in Seymour.
Born July 1, 1934, in Jennings County, she was the daughter of Walter D. and Lorena B. Banks Butler.
Eva was a seamstress at Excello Shirt Factory in Seymour for 18 years until she retired. She also was employed at Genbar for 13 years and four years at Seymour Housewares.
Survivors include her daughters, Kathy (Steve) Staggs, Stephanie Lynn (Don) Griffin and Andrea Dawn Divine; sons, Harold (Penny Sue) Burke, Allan Wayne (Cindy) Burke and Scott Louis Divine; 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren; and sisters Beaula Sparks and Mary Huerta.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by sons, Rickie Burke and Walter “Louie” Burke; a brother, John Butler; grandson, Rickie James Burke; and lifetime companion, Gerald Prince.
The funeral service will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Scott Brown officiating.
Visitation will be from 1 p.m. Friday until time of service at the funeral home.
