Sally Crouch of Seymour took her oath of office for her fourth and final term as a member of the Jackson County Public Library board of trustees when it met Monday at the Seymour Library.

Crouch recently was reappointed by the Seymour Community Schools board of trustees through December 2018.

Information Services Assistant Janet Hensen gave a demonstration of the jacksoncountyhistory.org webpage that was set up and is maintained by library staff, former AmeriCorps members and volunteers.

The site includes Shields and Seymour high school yearbooks from 1898 to 2013 and Riverview Cemetery records from 1982 to 2004. Hensen also highlighted Wowbrary, a weekly newsletter of new materials at the library.

The board reviewed progress on the 2014-17 strategic plan, approved closing in April 2016 for the Indiana Library Federation District VI meeting and received 2014 annual report information.
