Space is still available in the Indiana Master Naturalist class Wednesday evenings in March and April at Muscatatuck National Wildlife Refuge.

The first class will start at 6 p.m. March 4 in the refuge visitor center at 12985 E. U.S. 50, Seymour.

The Indiana Master Naturalist class follows a curriculum that covers a different natural history subject each week and includes learning about geology, birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians, wetlands and other subjects.

Students who complete most of the classes and spend 24 hours of volunteer time receive a Master Naturalist pin and certificate. A $35 fee is charged for course materials.
