NORTH VERNON

Florence May Purdue, 83, of North Vernon, died at 5:45 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2015, at Jennings Health Care Center in North Vernon.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Schildknecht of North Vernon; three sons, Dennis (Deloris) Purdue and Paul (Rhonda) Purdue, both of North Vernon, and Bobby (Eileen) Leahigh of Butlerville; seven grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis Purdue; and a son-in-law, Chuck Schildknecht.

The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at First Church of the Nazarene in North Vernon with the Rev. Sherman Beville and the Rev. Caleb Reynolds officiating. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Cemetery in Scipio.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon and from 1 p.m. until time of service Sunday at the church.

Memorial donations may be made through the funeral home to First Church of the Nazarene.
