North Vernon

Warren R. Alexander Sr., 73, of North Vernon, died at 2:37 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at his residence.

Survivors include his wife, Shirley Alexander of North Vernon; sons, Warren (Mary) Alexander Jr. of North Vernon, and Andrew (Debra Noone) Alexander of Huntington, Maryland; daughter, Susie (Wade) Burns of Montreat, North Carolina; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He was preceded by a son, Donald Alexander.

A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Marvin Sweet officiating. Interment will be in Vernon Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.
