INDIANAPOLIS

Ivy May Gerth, 85, of Indianapolis, formerly of Butlerville, died at 9:35 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015, at her residence.

Survivors include two sons, Willard Charles (Paula) Gerth of San Jacinto and Lennard Christopher (Dawn) Gerth of St. Augustine, Florida; a daughter, Valerie Gay Bowling of Indianapolis; a sister, Vera Aitken of Indianapolis; eight grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard Gerth.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon. Burial will be in Graham Presbyterian Cemetery in Jennings County.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to the American Cancer Society or Genteva Hospice of Marion County.
