Theta Omega Chapter of Phi Beta Psi Sorority recently met in the social room at Immanuel Lutheran Church.
President Joan Trimpe called the meeting to order. She was assisted by Mary Reynolds, Jan Robinson and Janet Cooper.
Kalee Alberring and Taryn Rockey, the Spirit Club co-chairwomen, took red and white team points for dance tickets sold.
It was reported the chapter donated $2,350 from the fall bingo event for the cancer research national project, and that there was a Christmas charitable project donation for a person taking cancer treatments.
Delegates to the 107th national convention, scheduled for July 19 to 22, were mentioned. The event will be at the Grand Hyatt in Tampa Bay, Florida, with the theme “Come Sail Away.”
It also was announced that the spring bingo event will be April 21 at the American Legion Annex, 414 W. Second St. Co-chairwomen are Beckie Anderson and Janet Cooper, Jackie Hill, Dana Byrkett, Jennifer Payton, Mary Reynolds and Jan Robinson.
The next meeting will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Community Foundation Building, 107 Community Drive. It will be a combined Founder’s Day and social and business meeting.
