Phyllis J. Crow, 78, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at Franklin United Methodist Community.

Born May 28, 1936, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Thelma Greiner Birch, who preceded her in death. On July 24, 1955, in New Castle, she married Phillip Eugene Crow.

Phyllis was a member of the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Columbus. She had been employed as a chair-side dental assistant. She had many interests including weaving, crafting, sewing, and she was an avid reader. Phyllis was a wonderful wife, mother and teacher.

Survivors include her husband; children, John D. Crow, Amy (Jerry) Boger and Mary Jo (Michael) Stanley; and three granddaughters, Amanda Boger Smith, Megan Boger and Emily Stanley.

Her wishes were for those who knew her to remember her in mind, and she did not want a funeral service.
