Kling — Shutters

Katlyn Nicole Kling of Southport and Kraig Allen Shutters of Seymour were married Saturday, Sept. 26, 2014, at North United Methodist Church in Indianapolis. The Rev. Darren Cushman Wood officiated.

The bride is the daughter of Ken and Leigh Ann Kling of Norco, California. The groom is the son of Rick and Karla Shutters of Seymour.

She is a 2008 graduate of Charlestown High School and a 2012 graduate of Franklin College with a bachelor of arts degree in elementary education. She is currently employed as a first grade teacher with Greenwood Community School Corp. and the varsity cheer coach at Greenwood High School

He is a 2008 graduate of Seymour High School and a 2012 graduate of Franklin College with a bachelor of arts degree in health sciences. He was employed at Anytime Fitness in Seymour as a personal trainer manager until he left for the United States Navy. He is currently an E-3 Seaman.

Jessika Devin was maid of honor, and bridesmaids were Amanda Henthorne; Sarah Molter; Amanda Sebastian; Kelsey Shutters, the groom’s sister; and Cynthia Smith.

Brayleigh Hayes, the groom’s niece, was flower girl.

Matthew Darland was best man, and groomsmen were Jesse Kiste, Michael Lewis, Zack McAdams, Matthew Lorenzo and Ryan McGrane.

Cole Simmons, the groom’s nephew, was ring bearer, and ushers were Hunter and Seth Schubert. Heather Hinton was organist.

The bride’s dress was a Winnie Couture in ivory. She carried a bouquet of mixed flowers in various shades of plum. The bridesmaids wore floor-length dresses in merlot, and they carried bouquets of ivory flowers.

The flower girl wore a floor-length dress in candlelight with gold accents and carried a gold basket of plum petals.

The reception was held at the Indiana Roof Ballroom. Music was provided by Maddox Entertainment.

The coupled traveled to Antigua for their honeymoon.
