BROWNSTOWN

Carol Sue Caudill, 75, of Brownstown, passed away at 8:40 p.m. Friday, Feb. 6, 2015, at Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown.

She was a member of Freetown Church of Christ.

She graduated from Christianburg High School in 1956. Her employment included working at Cummins Engine Co., Canfield’s and McDonald’s. She retired from Hardigg Industries of Columbus.

Born on June 4, 1939, in Columbus, she was the daughter of Burnell and Susie Wilkerson Ayers, both of whom preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Shultz and Tom Shultz, both of Columbus; a daughter, Donna Hart of Seymour; two sisters, Karen Zody and Diane Turner, both of Columbus; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Besides her parents, she also was preceded in death by an infant son and two brothers, Roger and Danny Ayers.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Spurgeon Funeral Home, Brownstown. Burial will be at Christianburg Cemetery in Brown County.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until the time of the service Tuesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to the Hoosier Christian Village Auxiliary.
