Elois Hunsucker, 84, of Seymour, passed away Thursday, Feb. 5, 2015, at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour.

Born on July 12, 1930, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Robert Paul and Yolande Ruddick Hair. Her parents preceded her in death.

Elois was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Star Rolling Hills, and the Ladies Auxiliary of The Eagles. She enjoyed crocheting and working with crafts. Her love was her family to who she was very devoted.

She married Sam Hunsucker on April 26, 1947, in Trafalgar. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include a daughter, Brenda K. Ellett Coulter; two sons, Michael D. (Susan) Hunsucker and Fred Hunsucker; five grandchildren, Kevin (Jodee) Ellett, Shawn Hunsucker, Jessica (Bryan) Zumhingst, Bobby Hunsucker and Adrianna (Jon Seybert) Darwish; and five great-grandchildren, John Hall, Ariah Hunsucker, Colton Zumhingst, Yarra Ellett and Silas Ellett.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by daughter Karen J. Darwish; granddaughter, Stephanie Hall; sons-in-law Michael Coulter and Mostafa Darwish; brother, Paul A. Hair; and sisters, Roberta Surenkamp and Hope Babb.

The funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Voss Chapel with the Rev. Steve Muster officiating. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and from noon until time of service on Monday at the funeral home.
