Donna Jean Williams Skinner, 65, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 4, 2015, at Schneck Medical Center in Seymour.

Born Jan. 3, 1950, in Seymour, she was the daughter of Donald L. and Florence J. Baker Williams, both of whom preceded her in death. On May 23, 1975, she married Bryan Skinner at Reddington Christian Church; and he survives.

She was a 1968 graduate of Seymour High School and a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She had worked for Foster Transformers, Big Lots and Rightway Fasteners. Donna enjoyed reading a good book, making floral arrangements, playing computer games and spending time with her family.

Besides her husband of 39 years, other survivors include children, Kristina Dian White, Lori Ann Skinner (Chris Knotts), Gary (Jessica) Skinner and Karrie Michele (Carl D.) Bevers; brothers, Michael L. Williams, Larry E. (Susie) Williams and Patrick A. (Rita) Williams; grandchildren, Karlie, Lester K., Devan, Isabell, Jasmine, Cameron, Marissa, Jaden, Dakota, Jordan and Peyton; and several nieces and nephews.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 N. Walnut St., Seymour, with the Rev. Joseph Barlau and the Rev. Andrew Currao officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with a dove release.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today at Voss Chapel and from 10 a.m. until time of service Saturday at the church.
