MEDORA

Thomas Dean Hamilton, 57, of Medora, passed away at 8:14 a.m. Friday, Jan. 30, 2015, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

Born Sept. 15, 1957, in Seymour, he was the son of John and Betty Harms Hamilton. His father preceded him in death.

He was a member of Medora Christian Church and loved fishing, hunting, cookouts and moped riding.

Survivors include his mother, Betty Hamilton of Medora; two sons, Billy Dean Hamilton of Seymour and Micheal Hamilton of Medora; one daughter, Jessica Hamilton of Seymour; three grandchildren; a longtime companion, Lynne Thatcher; two brothers, Terry Hamilton and Larry Hamilton, both of Medora; and one sister, Beth Hamilton of Medora.

Along with his father, he was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Hamilton.

The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Hague Funeral Home in Medora with the Rev. Stan Thomas officiating. Burial will be at White River Valley Cemetery in Medora.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
