The Seymour Wrestling Club placed second out of 28 teams in a tournament Sunday at Columbus East High School.

Columbus East won with 232 points, and Seymour followed with 193.5.

Seymour had the most pins, technical falls and in-match points scored.

Seymour youth wrestlers placing first in their weight classes were Chayston Petro, Asher Ratliff, Ben Kriete and Brandon Penegar.

Coming in second were Noah Chambers, Liam Chandler, Dane Botkin, Sammy Chandler, Owen Chandler and Jacob Kriete.

Other placings were Gabe Chambers and D.J. Mink in fourth, Cole Brewer in fifth and Gabe Baker in sixth.
