NORTH VERNON

Christopher Scott Readling, 28, of North Vernon, died Monday, Jan. 12, 2015, at his residence.

Survivors include his father, Doug (Laddi) Doty of Madison; his mother, Dana (Charlie) Jones of Lafayette, Tennessee; his stepfather, Paul Ethridge of North Vernon; four sisters, Cara (Paul) Maschino and Ashley Readling, both of Seymour, Abbigail Ethridge of North Vernon and Hanna Doty of Madison; two stepsiblings, Kyle Jones and Heather Stubblefield, both of Lafayette, Tennessee; and grandparents, Wayne Smock of Rising Sun, Hilda Asche of Batesville, and Bill and Betty Doty of Madison.

The funeral service with military rites will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Madison, with the Rev. Marvin Sweet officiating.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon and from noon until time of service Saturday at the cemetery.

Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Veterans of Foreign Wars Matt Hester Post 2021 in North Vernon.
