NORTH VERNON
John Davis Cooper, 82, of North Vernon, died at 11:28 a.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, 2015, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility in Columbus.
Survivors include two sons, John Warren Cooper of North Vernon, and Larry Estelle Cooper of Cathedral City, California; two daughters, Jeraldine Lynn Scruggs of New Liberty, Kentucky, and Rebecca Kay Cooper of North Vernon; two brothers, William Norris of Maryland, and Ronnie Norris of North Vernon; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
The funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at Second United Methodist Church in North Vernon with the Rev. Ron Norris officiating.
Dove-Sharp & Rudicel Funeral Home and Cremation Services in North Vernon handled the arrangements.
Memorials may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
